General Instructions

1. Bidders may download the following bid opportunities and must submit responses before the closing date as stated in the bid document. It is the bidder's sole responsibility to check often at the website for addenda, in particular before the bid closing date and time.  A bid document submitted without acknowledging the appropriate addenda will be rejected.
    
2. In order to view the documents, you will require Adobe Acrobat Reader. Free download is available at http://get.adobe.com/reader/
    
3. Bidders must submit the pages as instructed within the document to Supply & Services in a sealed envelope clearly marked as to its contents. A label is provided to be applied to the envelope for delivery purposes to the correct location before the closing date and time. Failing to do so may result in your bid envelope not being received at the correct location or before the closing date and time which is cause for rejection.
    
4. Bidders may arrange to pick-up the bid document from Corporate Services, Supply & Services, 2nd Floor, One The Esplanade, Pickering, Ontario, L1V 6K7, Telephone 905.420.4616.  A fee could be charged to cover printing and administration. This fee will vary for each bid document, depending on the size, drawings, etc.

• Vendors interested in bidding on current opportunities are required to register for the opportunity. 
   
• A List of Bidders may be created for the bid opportunity based on contact information you provide on the registration form or when picking up the bid document (see #4 above). By registering, you acknowledge and agree to your contact information being released and that you may be contacted by suppliers and subcontractors.
   
• Responsibility remains with the vendor and bidder to check website for updates, downloading all documentation from our website, including addenda.
